Large Vintage Black Glazed Jar material-stone considered superior to the moreShanxi, circa 1930 This very large, old earthenware jar would have been used for storing wine or foodstuffs in Shanxi, where it was made. It is finished in a shiny black glaze over the ribbed effect exterior and the circular maker's stamp is still clearly visible. Great for garden decoration or as an unusual extra large indoor vase.
