Henri Collet was not merely the critic who baptized a group of young composers in Paris with the name "Les Six" in two famous articles in the magazine Comoedia (16 and 23 January 1920). It would be equally misleading to depict him as an austere Scholar (the injustice done to Maurice Emmanuel!) for having written a thesis about "Mysticism in 16th Century Spanish Music" or books about Albniz and Granados or an unfinished work about Manuel de Falla.
