About Naomi Slade

Macleaya cordata | Plume Poppy Garden so popular with floristsThis stunning and highly sought after perennial is grown primarily for its attractive foliage although of late it has become very popular with our Flower Farmers due to the beautiful soft biscuity coloured plumes it produces which look stunning in floral work and make and make an excellent cut flower. Macleaya cordata performs best in full sun to light shade in moist but well drained soil with lots of organic matter added to help with soil fertility.
