A strong image this

standing atop a vintage tool box

It is painterly and energetic and often sombre and melancholic

as every work had to be sold instantly he found it impossible to build up a body of work that the dealers required for the solo shows that would have made his name

Glenn Fabry Still Lifes A strong image this"When I first read the 2000 AD comics in the 1980s, Glenns work became hugely influential. He worked on the comics Sline character for a while and when he painted the Demon Killer story arc, I became a fan for life. His knowledge of painting and anatomy is absolute."
