The Referend - The Blue Book 2020 750ml special~bfcm Straight raspberries & strawberries on
Description
Straight raspberries & strawberries on the nose with a herbacious character that reminds us of being out in the bush
The raisin character from the aroma comes through again
The terraced vineyards span 16 hectares across steep slopes in the appellations of Saint-Peray (clay & limestone) and Saint-Joseph (granite)
drizzled with apricot syrup – and the hop resin character is fresh and piney but leaves an oily and gum numbing finish as your tongue is smacked by the chronic bitterness that feels like it will last forever
