Bookshelf Cabinet it is made from solid

it is made from solid reclaimed elm using proper dovetail joints and the distinctive circular brass hardware and red tassel give it a strong oriental style

circa 1950

The main difference in our version is the addition of a wooden hanging rail on the inside - something unfamiliar to Ming and Qing Dynasty Chinese who would always fold their clothes for storage inside cabinets and chests

still intact

Bookshelf Cabinet it is made from solidThe extended top and tapered sides of our Contemporary Asian furniture are seen again here, adding an elegant profile to an otherwise very simple design. Great in a living room or home office, the three solid wood shelves provide plenty of space for books or a DVD collection.
