Chartreuse 1605 Liqueur d'Elixir Gift Card FEW Spirits is a grain-to-glassA magical herbal experience with notes of ginger, tarragon, basil, dill, eucalyptus and caraway with a fresh, minty finish. In 1605, Franois Hannibal d'Estres presented a recipe for an 'elixir of life' to the Carthusian monks. Containing 130 herbs & spices, the recipe was so complex that it took the monks well over a century to crack the code, and production at the monastery didn't begin until 1737.
