Antique Japanese Early 1900'S Satsuma Plate Ceramic Hand Painted Kiku 4.75" Metalwork 5 x 16 cm)This is an antique Japanese early 1900's signed Satsuma ceramic plate hand painted in traditional designs of chrysanthemums and peonies. The plate is a high fired ceramic for lasting durability. The underside shows the crackle glaze nicely. Thisplate measures 4 3 4" in diameter by almost 3 4" tall (12 x 2 cm). This plate remains in good condition but it must be noted that this is a small chip on the edge, please see photos.
