I've spent many happy hours making the beaded beads for this red and green beetle which I picked up on my travels in Northumberland

I've tidied and updated this one which pre-dates the 1955 period with a backing and edged with small beads

There was a lot of sewing involved to secure everything and I used up a ton of loose beads around the edge
