Old Arabic World Map in 1525 by Piri Reis - North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia astrology to honour the first presidentThis wonderful old map of an Arabic language World Map was originally published in 1525. It was created by Piri Reis. A very detailed oval map that shows the world with Arabic script shows the whole world as it was viewed almost 500 years ago. Most countries are shaped accurately; however, Antarctica, the East Indies and West Indies are not so well documented as of yet. This map looks great at all sizes: 18x11in (45x27cm), 24x13 inches (60x33cm),
