Description

The vines are perched on a rocky west facing hill with optimal sun exposure throughout the growing season

The resulting wine is a split screen of bright acidity and some darker tones from the older base wine

It is a blend that not only expresses the quality of our old vines

The sediments present on the bottom of the bottle are absolutely natural and synonymous with the genuineness of our traditional winemaking method

McKahn Morning Glass Grenache Poderi Cellario The vines are perched onA dynamically fruit forward wine, the bouquet opens with bing cherry, red currant, elderberry, and raspberry compote. Bramble, all spice, and what can only be described as a warm, sunny California summer day (yes that has a smell, and its unmistakable) complement this wine nicely. The palate is rich and soft with supple tannins and a lingeringly long finish. The Grenache grapes used to craft this wine were grown by Luis Zabala in the Arroyo Seco
