It provides a barrier to help prevent bacteria from penetrating the skin. It is easy to apply and its emollient action makes it ideally suited for massaging sore joints as it penetrates and soothes. It is particularly useful for minor skin problems caused by wet and muddy conditions and for scratches, sores and itches.
