It features a stainless steel boiler that converts tap water into pure, distilled water, removing 99% of total dissolved solids (TDS). Operating at 212 F (100 C), it eliminates cysts, bacteria, and viruses. The unit produces one gallon of distilled water in four hours and up to six gallons per day. Purified water is collected in the BPA free carafe
