This is Syrah grown in clay heavy soils with serious sun, but luckily is cooled by the coastal breeze that blows off from the Atlantic. This wine is high in acid, a characteristic that could be described as VA (volatile acidity), and so a wine for people that enjoy that element in a wine. Perfect for cutting though some fatty charcuterie, or biltong if you can get your hands on the good stuff.
