I still recommend breaking the motor in with an unmodified pump and swapping when doing the break in clean out/oil change

Typical turn around is currently 1-2 days after receiving the pump

Neutral will be easier to find and will have a more positive engagement than stock. The shift stopper plate is located behind the clutch assembly and does require a special socket for removing the clutch assembly.
