(Californa- LA) Sketch of the Battle 1812 recreationSketch of the Battle of Los Angeles Upper California, fought between the Americans and Mexicans Jany. 9th 1847. from a sketch of Emory. This was the conclusive battle instrumental in the conquest of California. Again it is similar but not identical to the map in the Emory report. Not a large map but one of the most important battles in American history. Shows the troop movements as well as the "Pueblo De Los Angeles" Condition is very good, crisp.
