Light Through the Trees Choose Your Size:10'' X 8'' this drawing study brings femininityPainted on location in El Retiro Park, Madrid, this watercolor captures light filtering through trees in soft, layered washes. Artist: Lucia Chinaleong What inspires the artistThere is no single source of inspiration. Rather, it is the simple impulse that when something holds a certain beauty, it asks to be drawn, perhaps as a way of understanding it. The artist often returns to botanical studies, watercolor abstractions, and loose, scribbled drawings.
