Brown Glazed Stoneware Jar spo-disabled Adding a touch of orientalThese simple, rustic jars come from Shanxi province in central China and date from the early to mid 20th century. Each one is finished in a rough, dark brown glaze and most still have the red wax export seal that is stamped before they can leave China. Note that sizes and actual finishes vary slightly as each jar is individually made.
