Backgammon Players Still Lifes 'LOVE ALWAYS embossed on Doris'Artist Notes 'The figures here are from the Tarot deck but changed. The Star (Aquarius) has put down the water jug. The Star and the Hanged Man both take a break, to play backgammon or just chill. The Hanged Man still has his legs crossed here in the shape of the number 4 which is something significant in Tarot it indicates a benign ruler. Self ruler too, I suppose.'
