A Tactile 19thC Bronze Mermaid Figurine sub-Antiques producing earthenware and from 1798Origin: French Period: Restauration 2nd Empire Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1820 40 Height: 4 inches The bronze cast finial, well modelled as a mermaid on a concave socle base, probably once a finial from a fine French mantle clock. Generally in good condition, she has expected wear and a lovely green tinted patination that comes with all good old bronzes. We mention that she is probably a finial from a mantle clock simply because she was found with a
