(Thematic) Christmas in America Nautical/Sea Charts and relief by hachuresChristmas in America "Colorado's Christmas present to its women in 1893: the right to vote". A fun map of the nation noting placenames with holiday connections "Christmas, Florida; "Holly, W. Va."), but is also full of brief holiday related stories from the beginnings of the nation up to the early twentieth century. Printed on newsprint at the time, it's rare to see any of these maps by John Hix survive, and its our first encounter with this map.
